From MJunior Fest to Charity Projects: How MBANK Celebrated Children's Day in Kyrgyzstan

10 June 2026

MBANK marked International Children's Day in Kyrgyzstan with a large-scale nationwide program. The bank organized the MJunior Fest festival and partnered with city celebrations in Osh. At the same time, the HR team implemented projects for bank employees and their families, including festive events for employees' children and social initiatives aimed at supporting local communities. As part of these projects, charitable assistance was provided to children's institutions and more than 460 children.

MJunior Fest: The Starting Point of the Celebration

The celebrations began with MJunior Fest, held at Asia Mall in Bishkek on May 31, 2026.

The event welcomed approximately 5,000 guests. The program featured performances by children's dance groups and creative studios. The headliner of the evening was singer Amirchik, who specially flew to Kyrgyzstan and performed with his live band.

Guests enjoyed themed photo zones and contests with valuable prizes, including iPhone smartphones and PlayStation 5 gaming consoles.

Official Partnership in Osh

On June 1, 2026, MJunior expanded to the national level. In Osh, MJunior became the official partner of the city administration in organizing Children's Day celebrations.

Events took place simultaneously at seven major venues across the city. The MJunior team participated at four locations: Navoi Park, Toktogul Park, Barpy Alykulov Park, and Sayran Park. Together with the Mayor of Osh, bank representatives presented awards to winners of city talent competitions.

Children at the venues received festive gifts, including balloons and ice cream. This cooperation with the municipality reaffirmed the bank's commitment to supporting regional initiatives and investing in the social development of Kyrgyzstan's regions.

Supporting Social Institutions

Following the celebrations in the parks, the bank's team visited children who could not attend due to health conditions or difficult life circumstances.

The team visited a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities, the "Boorukerdik" social institution, and the family-type children's homes "Altyn Uya" and "Lotus." These organizations received freezers, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, and other essential household appliances.

In Chuy Region, MBANK supported the "Nurmeeaysa" center in Orlovka. The bank purchased an industrial bread oven to help children learn valuable practical skills and trades. The center also received construction tools, a concrete mixer, chainsaws, and trimmers for improving the surrounding area.

To enhance living conditions, washing machines and air conditioners were provided, while new blinds and roller shades were installed.

For the Belovodsk Social Care Institution, bank employees purchased hygiene products, climate-control equipment, mattresses, and office equipment. The institution also received new kitchenware and dining utensils, while bicycles, sports equipment, and an audio system were donated for children's recreation and development.

Support was also provided to the "Hands of Love" organization. The facility received washing machines, Smart TVs, air purifiers, wardrobes, and bedding sets. In addition, its kitchen area was completely renovated with new ventilation systems, furniture, cookware, and cooking equipment.

The "Kovcheg" children's home, which houses 17 children, also received assistance. Essential household items were purchased to improve living conditions, including bathroom and kitchen supplies, towels, blankets, kettles, tableware sets, cutlery, and cleaning equipment.

In total, more than 460 children benefited from these initiatives. Support for each institution was tailored individually based on its specific needs and requests.

Corporate Culture and Care for Employees' Children

The final stage of the celebration week focused on activities for MBANK employees and their families. The bank actively incorporates principles of social responsibility into its corporate culture.

As part of a special program, 310 children of employees and their parents gathered for a festive event. Dance performances, interactive zones, and gifts helped create a strong sense of unity within the team.

Children also participated in competitive CashFlow board games designed to teach financial literacy.

Additionally, an online competition titled "Our Future from Every Corner of the Country" was organized for employees' children. Participants from different regions of Kyrgyzstan showcased their creativity through video projects, self-presentations, and other creative formats.

Following the competition, the bank's management decided to reward every participant. Each child received a commemorative gift as a token of appreciation, while festive gift packages were distributed to branches across the country.

MBANK views such initiatives as an investment in future generations and team development. Through educational and entertainment formats, MJunior helps engage children and teenagers while fostering an interest in financial literacy.

The development of the MJunior product and its associated social programs demonstrates how modern digital services can be combined with an active social mission, support for family values, and care for children throughout the country.
