JSC "Mbank" traces its history since January 01, 1988 as the Kirkontor of Zhilsotsbank of the USSR, on the basis of which the Bank was established on November 06, 1990, registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic as JSCB "Kyrgyzstan".
In 2005, the Bank was transformed into OJSC "AKB Kyrgyzstan", from November 20, 2006 the Bank was called OJSC "Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN", and since 2025 it has been called OJSC "MBANK", which operates on the basis of license for the right to carry out banking operations of the NBKR No. 014.
