Visa Honors MBANK for Launching Apple Pay in Kyrgyzstan

Visa, the global leader in digital payments, has honored MBANK with a prestigious award for successfully launching Apple Pay in the MBANK app and for its significant contribution to the development of digital technologies in Kyrgyzstan.

This official recognition highlights MBANK's leadership in building a modern financial infrastructure. Thanks to the launch of Apple Pay, thousands of people in Kyrgyzstan now have access to one of the most advanced, fastest, and most secure ways to pay for everyday purchases.

The award was presented by Sanzhar Suleymanov, Vice President and Regional Manager for Central Asia at Visa. On behalf of MBANK, the award was accepted by Almazbek Mamyrbaev, Director of the Digital Development Department for the Retail Segment.

Apple Pay has been available to MBANK customers since July 28. Cardholders of MBANK, MBusiness, and MIslamic can now make purchases using their iPhone or Apple Watch by simply holding the device near a payment terminal.

Every Apple Pay transaction is securely protected. Card details are never stored on the device or shared with merchants, and each payment is authenticated using Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode.
