Important Notification Regarding Upcoming Changes in US Dollar Payments

Dear MBANK Clients,

We would like to inform you about forthcoming changes related to outgoing payments in US dollars through KB Kookmin Bank (SWIFT: CZNBKRSE). These changes will take effect on October 6, 2023.

Starting from that date all outgoing payments in US dollars will be accepted with certain restrictions, i.e. only to recipient banks that are part of the correspondent network of KB Kookmin Bank. These restrictions will be introduced, as a result of changes in policy of the KB Kookmin Bank regarding US dollar outgoing payments.

Please note that outgoing payments directed to banks not listed in the correspondent bank's list will not be accepted for processing. You can find the list of recipient banks within KB Kookmin Bank's correspondent network at all MBANK branches.

We strongly advise that you structure your outgoing payments in US dollars in line with this updated list and avoid directing payments to banks not mentioned therein.

Also, MBANK would like to notify you that outgoing US dollar payments can be routed through other correspondent banks within a restricted list of recipient banks that are part of the correspondent networks of other correspondent banks. To clarify the details of these lists, we encourage MBANK clients to consult with customer service managers and deposit operations personnel at any of our branches.
