“Pension in MBANK”: Apply for a Pension Card Online — No Visit to the Social Fund or Bank Required
MBANK has launched a new service — “Pension in MBANK.” Apply for a pension card online without visiting the Social Fund or a bank, waiting in queues, or dealing with unnecessary paperwork. Card issuance, maintenance, and delivery are free of charge.
The new service is available to:
- Women who will turn 58 within the next 30 days;
- Men who will turn 63 within the next 30 days;
- Citizens who have the required work experience and are eligible to apply for a pension.
How it works
Thirty days before reaching retirement age, the bank automatically checks whether you are eligible for a pension card. If your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive a push notification in the MBANK app.
After that, you need to:
- Arrange free delivery of your pension card;
- Receive the card from a courier by presenting your original passport;
- Activate the card in the MBANK app.
Once the card is activated, MBANK will independently send your bank details to the Social Fund. There is no need to visit the bank or submit your bank details to the authority yourself.
Important: Reaching retirement age does not mean that a pension is automatically granted. The option to apply for a card appears only after your eligibility for pension benefits has been confirmed. The Social Fund is responsible for granting and calculating pensions. MBANK provides the bank account and card used to receive pension payments.
MBANK Pension Card Terms:
- Issuance — 0 KGS;
- Maintenance — 0 KGS;
- Replacement in case of loss or theft — 0 KGS;
- Delivery — 0 KGS;
- 2% annual interest on the card balance.
In addition, pension cardholders can enjoy special offers: 10% cashback in the “Health” category until December 31, 2026, and the “Muras” deposit with an interest rate of up to 13.5% per annum.
Thanks to the digitalization of Social Fund services and the transition to proactive pension assignment, citizens can now apply for and receive a pension card more conveniently — without leaving home.
