How to Return a Mistaken Transfer in MBANK

1) If You Sent Money by Mistake (You Are the Sender)

  1. Open the MBANK app

  2. Go to Transaction History

  3. Find the transfer made within the last 14 days and open its details

  4. Tap “Request a Return”

The recipient will receive a notification and only they can decide whether to approve or decline the return.
The bank does not guarantee a refund — it is possible only with the recipient’s consent.

2) If You Received Money from an Unknown Contact (You Are the Recipient)

  1. Open the MBANK app

  2. Go to Transaction History and find the incoming transfer (within the last 14 days)

  3. Open the transfer details

  4. Tap “Return Money”

The funds will be automatically returned to the sender.

Important Information

  • A return is only possible with the recipient’s consent

  • You can request a return within 14 days after the transfer

  • The return request remains active for 7 days

  • All actions are recorded in history as “Transfer Return”

  • Both parties receive notifications
