How to Apply for a Taxi License Online in Kyrgyzstan

MBANK and the Main Directorate for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Launch a Digital Service for Taxi Licensing

MBANK, together with the Main Directorate for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, is launching a new digital service for obtaining a passenger transportation license.

Drivers can now submit an application and pay for their license directly through the MBANK mobile app. The new service is the result of joint efforts aimed at developing digital public services and making them more accessible to citizens.

How to apply for a license?

All you need is a smartphone with the MBANK app installed.

• Open the MBANK app.
• Go to Services and select Government Services.
• Use the search bar or browse the list to find Taxi Licensing.
• Enter the required information and upload the necessary documents. If you do not have a compulsory carrier liability insurance policy (OSGOPP), you can also obtain it directly through the MBANK app.
• Confirm your application and make the payment.
• Once the application has been processed, your license will appear in the Electronic Documents section of the Tunduk app.

Just a few clicks — and your license will always be available in digital format.

The launch of this service is another example of effective cooperation between government agencies and the financial sector in developing Kyrgyzstan’s digital ecosystem.
